Details - Simple simultaneous inference

Bonferroni intervals provide a simple method for drawing conclusions about $ \alpha$ and $ \beta$ , designed to hold simultaneously with at least a given probability.

Alternative methods can also be used, particularly based on $ F$ -statistics. This is easiest to derive using general methods developed following the theory of estimable functions.
